Join the Delaware Highlands Conservancy and Timothy Yeatts, Forester with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, for a “Walk and Talk” at the Forest Reserve at Smallwood in Smallwood, NY. This engaging event offers a chance to explore an important question: What does it mean to manage land and its forests? Tim will guide participants along the reserve’s scenic trails and pristine waterways while answering questions from attendees and sharing insights into forest management, conservation, and stewardship. Closed-toe shoes required; rain or shine. Participants should anticipate walking 1-2 miles on maintained trails and pathways.
